MEET THE DESIGNER

Hi! I’m Jeannine Anna Rose Brown, the owner and creator of all the lovely jewelry, accessories and stationery that are a part of the Anna Rose Atelier collections. I live in Savannah, GA a wonderful city whose beauty and history provides me with endless inspiration. I am an old soul, a hopeless romantic and lover of all things vintage.

I have been artistic my whole life and I am thankful to have parents that nurtured my creativity from a young age. I come from a family full of artists, artisans and business owners and it is an honor to follow in their footsteps. While I have been making jewelry since childhood, my interest in creating bridal accessories was sparked after making pieces to wear for my own wedding and for the weddings of friends and family members. Creating stationery is the perfect way to utilize both my love for and experience in art and graphic design. The desire to help bring people joy on their special day is what inspired me to start a business in the wedding industry.

I am proud to be a part of the team of talented makers at Abode Studios where I enjoy spending my days working in my studio space. I have a BA in Fine Art & BA in Communication from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College. I am fortunate to have been able to use my passion for art and creativity for several of my careers although I am currently loving life as an entrepreneur.

PROCESS & MATERIALS

Atelier is a French word meaning “a workshop or studio, especially one used by an artist or designer”.

I take great pride in meticulously creating every piece with great attention to detail. I strive to use unique and quality materials and each piece is handcrafted to be worn and adored for years to come. Many of the vintage-inspired metal components I use are made from original casts from the 1800 - early 1900’s. These metal components are hand gilded and sealed which gives them a luxurious tone and helps prevent tarnishing. Many of our pieces also feature delicately hand-sculpted flowers made of porcelain clay. and can be customized to match any color. While each piece will be a close replica to the photos provided, they are all made by hand so each piece will have slight variations and thus will truly be unique.

I have formal training and extensive background in art and design. Many of the illustrations used in our stationery designs were drawn or painted by hand and digitized. Custom illustrations of venues, flowers or other personal touches can be added via custom order request.

HEIRLOOMS IN THE MAKING

Family history and cherished memories are life’s most precious gifts. When we hold an item or photo of someone we love we immediately delight in the memories we shared together. My hope is that this is what our pieces will do for you. May they remind you of the day you celebrated your love and as they are passed on to future generations, may your family think of the love they have for you as well.

Incorporating family heirlooms such as lace, beads, pearls, fabric, jewelry or photos into your own new piece is a beautiful way to honor your family members on your special day. Begin the conversation about a custom order here.

Every piece we make is heirloom quality and crafted for longevity to the best of our ability. They are delicate and should be handled with great care. All jewelry and accessories are packaged in a keepsake box to help preserve your piece for many years (and generations) to come. All wedding invitation suites come with two extra copies for the Bride and Groom - one for you to frame or add to a memory book and one in an acid-free keepsake box for preservation.
